This was discussed yesterday. I guy was posting that he knew the family and it was basically that Wes wasn't going to class and having trouble with grades. Hopefully that info hasn't changed since yesterday.

1) Not attending every class.
2) Getting behind in grades.
3) Not showing up for tutor.
4) Not taking Mainieri's warnings seriously.
5) Not playing for LSU.
Not much more to the story. I know a couple of players and some parents.

Coach didn't even tell the kids why he was being dismissed just said "team rules". Wes was not the brightest in HS but most thought because of the structure baseball would have he would do better, apparently not. Also, he has been kicked off the team for about week and a half now, surprised it took this long to become public

Don't know Dozar is the next cathcer on the roster, and Katz did play some catcher in HS maybe they change his position
