Were Montgomery's snaps limited in the second half of the MSU game?

Perhaps I am simply overlooking some snaps that he played, but it appeared to me that Montgomery wasn't a featured part of the defensive line rotation in the second half.

Didn't anyone else notice the same thing, or was I mistaken?

If true, was Sam injured? Did he make some error? Did the other lineman create better matchups for us?

Montgomery is arguably my favorite player, so I was just curious. TIA.

He was walking around fine in the quad today so I doubt any bad injury

Whenever the game started to pull away, he got less snaps...no point risking getting hurt...

He was jumping around on the sidelines all happy after the game and I saw no clear signs of him being hurt. I saw lineman trying to cut block him though...not doing a good job at it.

No injury. They put in Lavar Edwards after Relf was pulled, to give him some snaps due to his missing much of the Oregon game. Also, with Russell in the game, they wanted to just pin their ears back and blitz, thus Edwards and Mingo on the ends.

I, like you, was worried so I went back on the DVR. You can see Montgomery jumping around on the sidelines and after the game after they put in Edwards.
