Do y'all think somethings up with him

He went to the hospital and haven't been the same for "drinking too much coffee"

Do you think he is pulling a GP and has something seriously wrong with him?

Anyone who thought this was the actual cause is fooling themselves. That said, I hope it wasn't something actually serious.

Well, maybe there is something wrong with his health, but his coaching has not changed a wit since he arrived. He has always sounded mentally deficient to me. Forget the non-grammatical coach speak. He never really makes any sense, win or lose. Has nothing to say that anyone would care to know.

I recently listened to an interview with Kevin Sumlin. He is well-spoken and thoughtful. Provided what I thought was some good insight into the minds of his players' generation and the distractions they face, how his role as HC interfaces with it and some thoughts about how he handles it. I have never heard anything other than barely intelligible gibberish out of Miles's mouth.

So could he be ill? Maybe so. I hope not. I wish no person ill especially someone I do not even know. I have concluded that he is not a good coach for LSU. He needs to leave and doing so today would be a great idea. A bonus would include Joseph Aleva as well.

That's incorrect. The guy can fill and hold a room. He's eminently entertaining, good-natured and quotable. I love his press conferences. They can frustrate for sure because of his odd stops and starts and unique vocabulary, but people definitely "care to know" his thoughts.

Its comical you questioning his intelligence. I would bet you everything that I own that he not only has a higher IQ than you...but that it is significantly higher.

He's completely different in person. All those non sequiturs are an act. That said, I think something is wrong. Maybe physical, maybe emotional.

He's had two kids grow up and leave home, with another on the way out the door soon. He's lost his sister. He's in a high pressure job where you're only as good as your last win. And he can't get over the hump vs Bama.

He has enough money that he doesn't have to hit a snake with a stick for the rest of his life, and if he wants something to keep busy, I'm sure ESPN has a chair waiting for him. Maybe he's just had all he can take. 11 years is a long, long time to put up with that kind of stress, especially when you don't have to do it to keep food on the table.

I am over Miles as well, but if you would take Kevin F'N Sumlin over Miles, you are blind.

LOL. I'm sure that's putting a lot on the line. What has he ever done that makes you think he has a high IQ other than fall backwards into this job after Saban held out and hosed us when he bolted for Miami?

You also never see miles being carried to his hotel room because he was shitfaced. But yeah lets throw $ 6 mil at a coach that speeks the way you like. This same coach can't even beat miles, the bumbling idiot.

I noticed that he doesn't look at the reporters anymore. If you've ever met the man in person you know that he has a piercing stare. He used to look right in their eyes but I started noticing him always looking well above the interviewer the last month or so. Could be nothing but it could also be that he is hiding something that he doesn't want disclosed. I hope it's not about his head cyst.

How about graduate from The University of Michigan with a degree in Economics (not Kinesiology or Sports Management or some other basketweaving equivalent)? He may not be the football coach LSU needs going forward, but doubting his intelligence reflects more poorly on yours than on his.

Kinesiology as a major is more taxing than economics ....may be different at LSU ?

LMFAO. like a college degree is the only indication of intelligence. you must live in the city where people LOVE to talk about their degrees.

Dude, you are getting schooled in this argument and making yourself look bad to boot. And that is on a morning when the vast majority of us are not happy with Miles. Might be time for you to step away from this one.

really. how is that? him pointing out that miles has a degree in economics? If you think a college degree is proof of intelligence (and yes, I have one), then I don't know what to tell you.

If this bet goes through, and you can get Miles to agree, I would be happy to administer the IQ tests.

Didn't say I would take Sumlin, just said that he spoke as though he actually gives it some thought.

I have never been in a room in which Miles has spoken, only his pressers which, so far as I am concerned, are just as I described.
