Yes, another thread, deal with it
From the national weather service in birmingham (probably the most reliable forecast)
RAIN CHANCES WILL INCREASE LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY AS A COLD
FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST. LATEST GFS/ECMWF ARE NOW IN
AGREEMENT ON TAKING THE FRONT THROUGH THE AREA ON SATURDAY AS AN
UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH DIGS INTO THE CENTRAL US...WITH WIDESPREAD
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED GIVEN PLENTY OF MOISTURE IN
PLACE. GIVEN THE INSTABILITY...MOISTURE...AND SHEAR IN PLACE...WE
WILL HAVE TO MONITOR FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF STRONG TO SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FRONT DURING THE FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY PERIOD IF MODELS REMAIN CONSISTENT...AND ALSO THE
POSSIBILITY OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. DRIER AIR WILL MOVE IN FOR
SUNDAY

Nothing better than smash mouth football in the rain

It's settled, move the game to Baton Rouge.

This forecast (I trust Weather Underground for my marine fishing forecasts) shows the rain chances dropping to 10% at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. Also, it only shows 0.2 inches on Saturday. Of course, they are updating their forecasts all of the time and the more accurate predictions for Saturday will occur around Thursday.

The weather should be fine. The front will push through Tuscalooser, AL around 6AM Saturday morning. Rain chances at 6PM are only 7%, I don't think we'll see any rain during the game.
12Z = 6AM CST

I'd take that forecast with no questions asked.

Need a neutral field that is covered. I say move it to the Georgia Dome.
And the fact that I'm flying into Atlanta Saturday afternoon has nothing to do with my picking that location.
