Why are some of you knuckleheads screaming "The sky is falling" after a 3-0 start, a win over a ranked team, and our first back to back shutouts since big frizzy hair was in style?

Yeah, we have to improve and grow. This team is young. Guess what... EVERY TEAM HAS QUESTION MARKS!!!!

All of you thinking we are only going to win like 6 or 7 games are freaking idiots. There is no nice way of putting it. You are pessimistic fools. I bet if you found a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, you would bitch about having to carry it home.

I will take 31-0 against a 2-0 ULM team any day, and ESPECIALLY with a bunch of freshman and sophomores heavily contributing. Quit complaining and enjoy the ride. We are about to be back in the spotlight. If not this year, the next 2 years for sure!

If we would have played a spread team in Week 1, everyone would be talking national championship.

ULM will compete well for a conference title, as will Wisky. We will only get better. Ole Les described his team as "unknown" , a month ago. Well, they are beginning to be a known quantity of great quality now.

But what will 10 wins get? No trophy for 10 wins these days

I disagree with the OP. I predicted 15-0 , of course. But, we will more than 10.

Did you expect a trophy this year? It seems like 10 wins is a decent, if not slightly unfair, expectation for this team.

While I agree that we win at least 10 games this year and as happy as I would be with a pot of gold, pot of gold would weigh a shite ton and I wouldn't be happy carrying it.

Understand that everyone has growing pains

It's impossible to truly reload every year

It'll come for LSU soon and they'll have another 2011 type run

9-3 with the 10th coming in a .com bowl sounds about right

yes we can probably run the offense we ran last night and get 9- 10 wins, if that is our goal. Would rather that trying to win the SEC west which we seem to be fully capable of was our goal though, but 9-10 wins instead is an OK goal also I guess.

dude this is the rant, your rational comments have no place here, the rant is like a woman, if she's awake and isn't bitching about something she feels she is behind schedule

I have revised my predictions for this year:
LSU 11-1 (3 way tie for SEC west with bama and auburn)
ULM- SBC champs
Wisky- Big10 champs

I am not real sure on what the tie breaker is for the sec west is. IIRC it used to be the highest in BCS rankings but since there is no longer a BCS idk.

10 wins every season pretty much cements LSU as one of the most dominant teams this century. You have to have a few 10 win seasons to put together a really successful season. As much as it is a letdown to not win every game to me, it'll be okay. Plenty of programs would kill to win 10 games every year. It's pretty much the symbol of a dominant program.

I'm not saying we should win every game, just saying winning 10 games doesn't get us anything

Until we exorcise the demons of 2011, a ten win season isn't going to cut it for most fans. That's just the truth of the matter.

Reminds me of 2009 and they were ready to fire miles when we were 7-0.
