We should petition the SEC/NCAA to get the McNeese game back

I just want more and I don't care how retarded it sounds.

when other teams have played 9-10 games we have played one less...advantage LSU

When would you play it? We don't have a bye week in common, and McNeese could easily be in the FCS playoff after their regular season. Much more trouble than it's worth at this point.

I want it so Fournette can have more rushing yards and TD's.

I can play the game on my X Box and supply the NCAA with pertinent stats.

Let's schedule it for the middle of April. Give me a little more football during a period we don't get it.

Thursday Oct 29th, between WKU and Bama.
Or Thursday Nov 26th between Ole Miss and TAMU.
Hell, any Thursday works. Would be a ratings boon to ESPN.

So, you'd be in favor of eliminating our pre-Bama bye week?

Sorry, no it wouldn't.

No thanks. For what? Stats? Why risk the injuries?
We gonna pay them twice?
We gonna pay them twice?

If we are unbeaten, that's probably true.
But if we have one loss, we may not be in the playoff when the committee has to pick teams among several one-loss teams.

Sorry, McNeese isn't playing two games in three days.

Ok, make it Wednesday.
And for another $500k, I bet they would.

This is stupid and you should feel bad

So you are of the belief that if LSU is 11-1, SEC Champ OR 10-1 and ranked very highly, it will be held against us that Baylor has that extra game against Little Sisters of the Poor and we don't?
I really hope the good people of the committee are smart enough to realize that LSU would have won that game handily and "add" a win for it when comparing other teams. It's not like it was an opener against Michigan that got cancelled.

Nah, if this is for stats, LF has a better chance in person..even if you put the skill level on JV with 15 minute quarters.

We'll get that game back when we play in the SECCG and then the playoffs and then the NC.

Terrible idea.
Not having a "tune up game" was definitely a valid concern, but at this point in the season, having not played McNeese is an advantage.
When other teams are playing 12 games, and LSU plays 11, it technically means that LSU has about a 10% less likelihood of players getting injured.

LSU seems a lot more fresh with less injuries and about to hit their stride. The Championship is theirs to lose.
