We put up 52 points while only throwing 8 times.....

that, my friend, was a totally incompetent Ole Miss team. However, Miles' teams of the past would have played to the level of Ole Miss and would have found a way to make this game close. Not this year.

I'm one of those people definitely.
Even as the season went on, I thought LSU could or would lose to the following teams:
Oregon (QB position unsettled)
Miss State (thought they were improved and would have game circled, while LSU had from turnovers LY that would not be repeated at home)
West Virgina (thought Holgersen would pass all over them and LSU would not be able to score points with run only offense)
Tennessee (thought they would get revenge from LY and play crazy lights out, while LSU would take them lightly)
Alabama (thought better line play would be more important than our ST advantage)
Arkansas (see West Virgina, but with established head coach and team is on a roll)

Nothing much different in this game than previous. The offense got the ball with a fairly short field most of the time, and the defense has basically set the offense up.

First step is to understand self. Now that you know that you are chicken little, next step is to expect a win and enjoy the game instead of being afraid that next play is going to doom your team.

while I thought Miles should have kept running...what is sweet about this is I hate everything there is about Ole Miss with a white hot intensity of a 1000 suns and no matter what Ole Miss does in the future, unless they are able to take a knee against LSU with 6 mins left to go in a game they will never be able to overcome that humiliation...and I love it!

Pick 6. Fumble to set up a TD. Fumble in the endzone for a TD. We don't need to pass when they spot us 21 points.

I was hoping someone would notice. At the end of the day, we were running the clock out really midway through the 2nd quarter. I know it was a combination of our OL/RB dominance as well as Ole Miss talent/effort but we had almost 500 yards of total offense with the most vanilla scheme out there. I love that people are still underestimating this team. I believe when we get challenged we will continue to step up and take over. I laughed watching Lou Holtz and Mark May debating over the sportsmanship of taking the knee at 5 minutes remaining. May seemed angrily pissed that we were "showing up Ole Miss and their seniors on their night" by doing it. I mean, should we have dropped 60 on them to be better sports? Really???? The college football world will sober up when we smack Arkansas, pound Georgia IN Georgia and then win another BCS title.

I still think we need a more balanced offense. BSC champ game against BAMA all this run only might not work again. We have to pass more. I dont know if we can play the same game plan we did against BAMA and win.

So basically you're saying that you've been wrong about every significant opponent so far. With that track record, I feel better knowing that you are freaked out over Arky.
