We have big physical specimen receivers. Why are we only playing a couple of midgets?

Not saying they're not decent players in their own right. Dillon is good on the jet sweep.
But geesh. We have some MEN out there. Big strong tall guys. Davis. Sullivan. Anderson if he gets his shite together. McMath and Netherly could be that as well. Guys that can't be knocked backward when trying to get off the line. Guys who are big targets.
Somebody explain to me why we're playing midgets out there in the fricking SEC.

Because it usually takes until that 3rd year for WR to emerge

According to people in the know, they don't know the plays.

If they don't know the plays, that's on the coaches. Teach them the fricking plays.

offensive line fails to protect the quarterback long enough for the receivers to get separation. Doesn't matter if the receiver is 5'8" or 6'7". If the line can't hold their blocks our receivers will never catch balls.

Seems like the simplest way to go about it.

Because Sullivan drop one of the best thrown balls this year and an easy one to catch against a shitty team. This leads to trust issues. I still don't know why Gage is out there. Dee needs to get his shite together. CharT needs to be smarter.
The true freshmen don't need to be playing wide receiver right now.

Weird post. It's football, not a body building contest.

Yep one or 2 plays per guy, it would be easier if it was les sysyem. I would think the issues are the motions and check down

Well Sullivan dropped a TD pass, so...probably a big reason right there.

Which is pretty obvious. I know most people don't even remember this play because it was mid-4th and we were getting our asses kicked...but we had to call a timeout because Foster went out wide to line up, and he was so confused and turned to Etling with his arms out. We called a timeout and Etling was yelling at Drake. He had clearly lined up in the wrong spot which threw everything off.
This isn't high school, you're not babied anymore. Everyone came in knowing the same amount of plays with Canada. If you don't know the plays, you don't get rewarded.

Not even close.
You go over plays, everyone has playbooks. As a coach, learning the plays is easy for the players..the ones who do it care more, and have earned the right for their playing time
