Keep seeing people post "not going to go look but..." so here. Our 2nd half plays...
Where were we conservative? Complain about things that can be complained about, but the play calling wasn't it. Best called game in years IMO.

First Possession: 3 pass, 0 rush
(13:15 - 3rd) Danny Etling pass complete to J.D. Moore for 8 yds to the LSU 21
(13:06 - 3rd) LSU Penalty, False Start (Maea Teuhema) to the LSU 16
(12:45 - 3rd) Danny Etling pass incomplete to Colin Jeter
(12:40 - 3rd) Danny Etling pass incomplete to Travin Dural

Second Possession: 1 pass, 2 rush
(6:26 - 3rd) Danny Etling pass complete to Leonard Fournette for a loss of 1 yard to the LSU 28
(6:05 - 3rd) Leonard Fournette run for 12 yds to the LSU 40 for a 1ST down
(5:17 - 3rd) Leonard Fournette run for 6 yds to the MisSt 49 Leonard Fournette fumbled

Third possession INSIDE OUR 10: (1 pass, 3 rush)
(2:09 - 3rd) Leonard Fournette run for 4 yds to the LSU 11
(1:29 - 3rd) Leonard Fournette run for 1 yd to the LSU 12
(1:06 - 3rd) Etling, Danny pass complete to Dural, Travin for 19 yards to the LSU31 (Durr, Lashard), PENALTY LSU holding (Pocic, Ethan) 6 yards to the LSU6, NO PLAY.
(0:38 - 3rd) Danny Etling run for 8 yds to the LSU 14

Fourth Possession INSIDE OUR 5: 5 pass, 8 rush
(13:34 - 4th) Leonard Fournette run for 2 yds to the LSU 3
(13:07 - 4th) Danny Etling pass incomplete to Travin Dural
(12:55 - 4th) Leonard Fournette run for 8 yds to the LSU 11 for a 1ST down
(12:15 - 4th) Leonard Fournette run for 14 yds to the LSU 25 for a 1ST down
(11:32 - 4th) Danny Etling pass complete to Travin Dural for 8 yds to the LSU 33
(10:58 - 4th) Derrius Guice run for 3 yds to the LSU 36 for a 1ST down
(10:28 - 4th) Danny Etling pass incomplete to Leonard Fournette
(10:20 - 4th) Danny Etling pass complete to D.J. Chark for 11 yds to the LSU 47
(9:48 - 4th) Leonard Fournette run for 10 yds to the MisSt 43 for a 1ST down
(9:26 - 4th) Danny Etling run for 3 yds to the MisSt 40
(8:39 - 4th) LSU Penalty, Illegal Block (Foster Moreau) to the LSU 45
(8:18 - 4th) Danny Etling pass complete to Malachi Dupre for 17 yds to the MisSt 38
(7:37 - 4th) Derrius Guice run for 4 yds to the MisSt 34
(6:50 - 4th) Leonard Fournette run for no gain to the MisSt 34 Leonard Fournette fumbled, forced by Dezmond Harris, recovered by LSU Foster Moreau

Last Possession, needed to run clock: 1 pass 2 rush
(3:13 - 4th) Leonard Fournette run for 2 yds to the LSU 21
(2:31 - 4th) D.J. Chark run for a loss of 4 yards to the LSU 17
(2:26 - 4th) Danny Etling pass incomplete to Malachi Dupre

Total: 11 pass 15 run is not bad at all, especially starting inside our 10 twice and one of the 5 possessions needing to burn clock.

You'll get no responses when facts are brought to light. People that blindly scream "FIRE MILES!" don't understand any of these numbers.

We've tried. The usual suspects stayed out of this thread too.

Thanks for trying though. I enjoy when people lay out the evidence and people still ignore it because it doesn't fit their narrative.

2 Fumbles, Penalties, and bad field position killed the 2nd Half.

Miles, as a game day coach, is pretty bad. Anyone who watched the game knows he didn't get conservative but if ever there was a game where going conservative was the right tactic MSU was it. We were in terrible field position in the 2nd half & burning clock at the right time was the 100% correct play. But he didn't.

Truth. Miles really did open it up. But the haters here gonna hate.

The really hilarious thing here is that they mad at him for it!

He just can't win with some of you.

I was talking with a guy today who bitched about shutting down the offense in the second half. These guys have a narrative in their minds and they're not letting reality get in the way.

Good analysis.

Thanks for posting. I was saying we got conservative but I was incorrect saying that.

The fumbles and penalties really hurt us.

Thanks!
