LSU should be in great shape next year and I'm thinking its Jefferson's best year in 2010. If the coaches can manage the clock better, we will be a top 10 team in 2010. I'm looking forward to Loston being on the field. The one thing I did like about Jefferson, he threw the long ball very well.. the best I've seen all season.

Problem is they don't have anyone who will coach 'em up and get them ready to play.

I love this. It sure as hell better be. Statistically, how could it be any worse? Oh, and what about 2011? Does he regress?

ETA: I apologize for my foul mood.

Saban is losing 8 starters on defense and Florida is losing Meyer and Baby Jesus next year.

Miles leads us to the SEC C.G. next year and the Negatigers start to jump ship like the little rats they are.

I like the new coaches Gonzales and Wilson.. Its what they needed.. some young coaches to pump them up..

I only see the LB and offensive line as the biggest need for next season.

Is Chavis really moving Loston to linebacker?

I just love the blind optimism

We could bring EVERYBODY back and the result would be the same if the play calling doesn't change , if the playmakers stay on the bench , if the clock management is mishandled , I could go on and on here....

How many head coaches are we losing? That answer may clue us into a bit of a problem.

the thing about college football is that each year is a different team. losing 15 players is actually a lot. what this team needs is leaders, esp on offense. stats are almost meaningless; we need guys that friggin' want to win. our back is up against the wall and, in my opinion, it is time to find out who the hell wants to start at LSU. our lines of scrimmage should be top priority with our play calling on offense right alongside. our entire strategy should be reworked with plays that take a weak line in account. a general statement, of course, but if internal blocking doesn't open holes for our RB's, the perimeter blocking better improve. as an example, a RB in the bowl game threw a "perfunctary" block at a psu lb who promptly shrugged it off and made a tackle resulting in about a one yard gain. the next penn state tackler was about 7 yds upfield; that play should have gone 8-10 yards. that is only one example and i understand rb's missing blocks sometimes, but i do not understand half-arse blocking. this RB should (and i hope will) pay a price for that. i think 2010 is the year we determine if we keep miles. if i'm the taf, i'm starting a "war chest". if crowton is the problem (or stud or whoever), keeping them onboard is like dinardo keeping lou tepper. again, i'm not really sure crowton is the problem as i'm not at practice but i know i see an offense that just doesn't work enough well to win close games, let's weaker opponents hang around and makes our defense stay on the field two thirds of the game.

Saban can lose 8 starters on defense and they will still have a better defense. I'll take any side bets on it.

do you mean because of the players that we are losing,or lack of productivity?the biggest need for next season is a coaching staff that can evaluate the talent in their arsenal and put their best players on the field.you have FAULK,HURST,LONERGAN,BLACKWELL,AND RUSSIAN to name a few that would have been a major improvement over this year.imo, the o-line coach doesn't know how to get the most out of his players.ciron black(imo)regressed as a player, and that was disapointing.he has all the tools.i don't think that he had a terrible season, but i didn't see him having a stellar one either.HITT,HEBERT,AND DAWORICHIC(SPELLING?)ARE NOT SEC CALIBER LINEMAN.they were out muscled all year.you can take every position on this team, and see a better quality player sitting on the bench.you don't sideline a horse like secretariat to run "MR. ED"
