I will continue to support. I will continue to cheer. I will not stop making observations. I will not stop voicing my opinion. Go away communist.

ETA: Also, Kramer upped his average again today...

Do you think Pap will be a .250 hitter this year?

I think he has a better chance than Deichmann let's put it that way.

He went 1-4 with a double tonight. I think he settles in to a .250 to .275 hitter. Will be a .300 hitter next year hopefully.

Just throw him all off speed and deichmann doesn't hit .200

I hope so. That is all he needs to do because of his defensive skills. If he can't hit .250 though, maybe Romero should get more PT.

That would be nice. Maybe he'll do it this year.

Here's an odd feeling...

It's the 2nd week of SEC, and LSU doesn't even start its leading HR hitter...

Romero can't hold a candle to Pap defensively. It may almost be time to give some people some playing time in Diechmann and Bryce Jordan's spots. Diechmann is just terrible at the plate and has made no adjustments to the off speed. I love the Jordan's efforts but they just aren't clutch and really aren't anything special.

Yes, we lost 7-8 everyday players from last year because they were all young.

I'd like to see Ducote get healthy and see what he can do. I'd still like the kid from West Virginia to get some playing time too, we are going to need him.

Why not DH the guy?? Of course he might hit a wall against SEC pitching, but his numbers so far are very good. I don't get it.

Not sure what "can't hold a candle" means, but look at my posts about the two. If Pap can't hit better than .250, maybe his defense is not worth the trade off.
