Great story but did Dale Brown annoy anyone else in this?

He seemed like he was always trying to want to be the center of the story. Maybe it's just me but he made it hard to watch and enjoy.

Actually, I found the show made better sense of Dale Brown, as a person and a coach, than what we knew back in the day.

It is.

He did have a big personality, but it wasn't like he was Al Sharpton or something. He wasn't faking his passion like most that starve for attention.

It's just you, Coach Brown is an interesting man and learning more of his back story makes his story even more impressive. I was on a flight with him a couple of weeks ago and he is fun to talk to. I worked with Ethan Martin years ago and mentioned this to Coach Brown he immediately went in to the story of Ethan's recruitment , he truly cared about those players and stays in touch with them to this day.

This. While watching I thought he might be a blowhard with an inflated ego but he really stands by what he believes. I may not agree with him but I respect people who follow their words with actions.

I sometimes questioned DB as a coach but I don't think that anyone can question the type of person that he is. You can't deny that he's had a huge positive impact on his players and LSU.
