I'm trying to watch football on sec network using watch espn, but I keep getting a "user not authorized" error even though I have secn as a part of my uverse package at home. Anyone know how to fix this so I can watch the lsu game tonight?

The obvious things:

Make sure the ID and passwords match. Many of us have multiple of those things and sometimes we try to use different ones.

Does case matter? If so, make sure caps lock is not on, etc.

Try logging into your uverse account...just to make sure

Some people last year had better luck killing the app then reopening it. Sometimes it wouldn't authenticate your account.

Call customer service at uverse and see what they may be able to do. Perhaps this is an occurrence they've addressed before.

Good luck

Just to check things out, do you know someone who's credentials you can log in with (friend, brother, parent, etc?)

1) If so, can at least watch this game and then tend to your issue later

2) If it does not work, then it is likely not a "credential" issue but an app issue, etc

You have to be a subscriber of the SEC Network to watch SEC Network games.

I was having same problem with Watch ESPN...Can watch certain games...BUT NOT the games with "little key logo" on the side...Was on Phone with COX Hour & half!! They came up with conclusion my web browser "Mozilla Firefox" wasn't compatable? Bec my wife was able to Watch those games on her Lap-top...so it's CONFUSING!

My tech savvy bro calls BS on this...not sure but it's MADDENING!!!!
