Wasn't Rickey Jefferson supposed to be moving to LB?

I thought the reason and plan for his bulking up and coming in all jacked up was to move him to a LB spot. He just looks slower and less apt to cover spread sets and receivers. Is this guy the new DJ Welter? Been in the system so long they trust him to not make "mental mistakes"?

He has played well.
I don't know what is up with our fans and dbs but damn people opponents can make plays also. yall are acting like we have a swiss cheese defense and allowing teams to race up and down the field. Maybe yall need to watch other teams defenses that give up 30+ points and 300+ passing yards every week

He's playing good enough to keep his spot. Dwayne Thomas can't beat him out, nor can none of the outstanding freshman. I think Savion smith would excel at that position.

No. It was reported that he had some spot duty there during camp. But that was just to have him prepped in case due to numbers and lack of experience there.
