Summary:

--Lange gives up 1st inning run, but limits damage with bases loaded and 1 out.

--Lange pitches like a beast til the 8th, but the offense wastes several opportunities to score with runners at 3rd and less than 2 out. A couple of the situations were brutal; it's best you don't know the details.

--Lange gives up 2 in the 8th. Tigers down 3-0. The Rant melts. PM is an idiot and trash and can't coach.

--Hess gets final out of 8th to restore order

--We score 4 in bottom of 8th, all of it off their bullpen and closer. Deichman gets 2 run double to left, Watson drives him in to tie, Jordan executes beautiful hit and run, and Paps hits sac fly to score runner from 3rd.

--The melters now look stupid, as usual.

--Hess pitches the 9th like a possessed dude with his hair on fire. Apparently there was a spider on his hat. Zero fricks given. Gives up leadoff single, then strands runner at 3rd. Ends game with strikeout.

--Tigers win. State heads to drug store after game to buy plenty of lube in preparation for what may happen to them in Game 2.

And he came out after 2 runners got aboard. So the rally wasn't 100% off their bullpen.

Great run down. As someone who doesn't like baseball but loves LSU, I wish you could provide this after every game.
