It is a win-win tonight for the Rant.

Either "Ole Miss is going to kill us omg" or "Look how good Jimbo's offense is!!!"

Seems the former is the scenario that is playing out.

only the dipshit fans. man had record breaking offenses here in 01 and 03. was OC on a natty team then won a natty as a head coach. developed Qb's like booty, davey, mauck, russell, flynn, ponder, manuel and winston. many of whom played in the NFL.

ummm ole miss does not suck. if you think jimbo sux if they lose this game you need to stop watching football.

Yea, we don't want a coach that's won a national title. Just some guy that's been a head coach for one season and one game and never sniffed the SEC.

He's thinking about the LSU job and that purple tie he wore today. He'll shake it off and win the game.

I guess we can forget all of his recent accomplishments, reputation as a QB guru, what he brings to the table, ignore the fact that he won a Natty/Heisman with a RS Freshman QB just 3 years ago, made the playoffs the following year, and judge him off of this one current game. Yeah that makes sense...

Running similar sets. Spread is the answer with all the possible faults of sacks, ints, etc. It offers many more options to attack from the run and pass. The FSU game is a good case study as to this LSU style versus a team that is good in the spread. It can't compete as well without a really good defense and a really good offensive line.

We simply got out-executed when going up against a team that ran a similar style as LSU does in Wisconsin because they had a better offensive line which allowed their QB to get comfortable and they were more balanced from the start of the game.

you were saying?

yeah, we could be so lucky as to have a shot at Jimbo.... rather than the circus clown eating grass on the sideline that we currently have running the show now...
