These kind of allegations are similar to these kinds of rumors you would hear about Brady's treatment of players during his time at LSU, no?

He had definite anger management issues.… But his teams developed as well as any LSU teams have.

Brady coached defense and took us to a final four. LSU isn't a basketball program. He did something we may never see again and started with a probation team. For that I'll always like him. I don't need him to be sweet to the players and tuck them in at night.

I said it when we fired him and I'll still say it today... We fired him too quickly. I miss Brady Ball. All this other bullshite hasn't come close to measuring up and that's incredibly sad to me.

Yes he was like this. And that's why he couldn't sustain a program. The turnover rate for key players was devastating. Shawnso Johnson walked out during halftime of a game and never came back. If not for Jabari Smith, Brian Beshara and Brady would've come to fisticuffs during a time out....more than once.

if the administration and supporters liked and respected him he probably would have survived his last season

No player that left LSU during Brady's tenure did one thing at another Div I school. Your statement is beyond ignorant. Also, Brady could not sustain a program? Check his SEC titles and Final Four appearances, including the 2009 SEC champions who were in the house when he was fired. Even Trent Johnson said that was Brady's team. Again, your comments are beyond ignorant!
And finally, list our SEC titles and Final Four appearances since Brady. You might not be able to figure it out, but there aren't any.

problem is when you dont win, nobody sticks up for you for being an a-hole. that part is on him.

I dont think he was a bad coach. But your not going to luck out again with that final 4 team we had. Didnt really have depth, but it was a group of guys that grew up in and around baton rouge. He didnt really have to do much to get those players here.

He recruited every player on the 2009 SEC champions team who made a good run in the tournament. Your statement doesn't hold water when compared to the facts.

Gransberry was good at USF and he could've played in the post when Tyrus left instead of Lazare and Rolle but besides him it was nothing close to devastating.

Brady's time at LSU was done.

Is he a better coach than Jones? Absolutely.

But that doesn't mean I get that twinkle in my eye wanting him back.

That's like wishing I had crabs when instead I have ghonorreha. I don't want either.

This....Brady could coach but there's so much more to being a successful head coach at this level that he was terrible at it cost him. He alienated folks at every level, fans, media, administration, other coaches, players, etc. that there's no margin of error when you are losing...as you said, that's on him.

Irony is that when he took the job his speech was all about relationships and how building relationships lead to sustained success. He either forgot that or never really believed it.

I knew a player on the team in the early 2000's. Brady tried to run his mouth to Torris Bright once and Torris chased him out of the locker room.

Lol I love the rant. If you disagree you are "ignorant". Yes he was obviously more successful than our current coach and cjj. He ran off players left and right and suffered from lack of depth even on his 2 good teams. He had one final 4 team and 2 sec titles. Much better than his predecessors, but you seem to forget outside of those 2 years, LSU didn't even make the ncaa but maybe twice?

I heard Tack one time dribbling down the court and Brady was yelling at him at Tack while dribbling looked right at Brady and said "frick You".

Still can't believed Brady ever signed that dude. Or that they lasted as long as they did together.

When has LSU sustained a basketball program?

The only other LSU BB coach that took us to the final four left the program in shambles. That is why we hired Brady. No other coach wanted the job.

Who wouldn't be stressed if they started a basketball career at their dream job with four scholarship players, built the program to national prominence, beat the most reputable coaches in the nation, and the fans turned on him like he was Curley Hallman.

To LSU fans Brady and Pokey were the good old days. Will we ever see it again.
Just making the tournament is a dream seldom attained now.
