Love the "Go to hell, Ole Miss" chant. Loud and clear. How nice was that throw back to Alexander! Wish we would put Jennings in backfield and run that same play to Hill this weekend.

Old Cholly Mac got a bad rap for being "too conservative" and "unimaginative", but many of the plays in this game were very clever and unexpected.
He didn't always have the best talent, but overall he was a very effective coach.

I still have that game on Beta tape. The first thing I ever recorded. Boy, what about that hair in 1978! I've noticed that Ensminger has gained a little weight since that game. Well, so have I along with 4 kids, of which the first one was born May 79 and 4 grand kids and every one of them are LSU Tigers!!! (Well the little one haven't got there yet but they will). Oh, and that Beta machine? It is in my hallway closet and I get it out every couple of years and still see if it works. Good ole Sears.
