If Leonard had that play back, he would have had over 300 yards. That's insane

Yeah he should have been up on the line but he checked with the ref and stepped back for some reason

Called on Dural. He would've had 331.

Yes it was....

And Dupre was never lined up on the LOS because he wasn't supposed to be. Dural was supposed to be on the LOS and he wasn't.

OP... Fail

Why would an inside receiver line up on the line of scrimmage? That would make him ineligible for a pass. Dural was the one it was called on. The ref made a horrible call.

Seriously, this is fundamental football knowledge. Dupre was not supposed to be on the line of scrimmage.

The inside receiver can line up on the LOS but he can't be covered up if he wants to be an eligible receiver. However, I haven't noticed LSU line up with the inside guy on the LOS this year. It was definitely on Dural.

This penalty call is really making some people look dumb

So you watch football and have never seen a slot guy be on the line? It happens all the time and he can still be eligible as long as another receiver outside of him isn't on the line

It was the right call 100%. Dural wasn't on the line. The ref was just doing his job.

Looking at the game again, I think it might have been on the TE on the opposite side.

Holy shite I hope you're really drunk.

Just to show you quickly how wrong you are, if what you say is true, TEs would not be eligible.

Flag was nearside on Dural. He never checked with the ref, which is why Dupre was having trouble lining up.

This video actually proves that he didn't. He signaled that he was OFF the line. To signal that you're own the line, you point forward. He clearly points straight out and back, signaling that he's off the line.

Shouldn't the ref signal only the outside guy and everyone line up on him. Refs arm out to the left equals guy on end is off the line, no?

Meant to add that Dural was clearly meant to be on the line. LSU hasn't run a flex receiver on the LOS this season to my knowledge. Dupre was clearly supposed to be off the line... My fault on wording.

ETA: JG, your second up vote is from me for catching my mistake.
