LSU will cover that. They will lose, but cover.

I try to be pretty objective when it comes to LSU when money is on the line, but I will empty my account if I can get LSU +17 @ Bama.

Bookies all over LA will lose everything, and pray and hope the Saints don't cover the next day. Could be the biggest loss of LA bookies since the 2010 Super Bowl.

No fricking way the line is that high.

I think the 17 pts line at Bama is fair. I wouldn't touch it either way at that point.

There is a shite ton of value in getting 17 points. Bama is good, but LSU isn't 3 scores worse.

Mett scorched a much better bama defense last year. Now we have a better O-coord, receivers are more experienced, Hill is playing lights out... anything over a 2TD spread and you take LSU all day.

there is no bias in vegas bc there can't be. they want to make money.

So i always find it amusing that fans think we should win every game we play in no matter what. Even though we were underdogs to UGA and now massive underdogs to Bama.

I also think that A&M line will move closer to -2 or -1 by kickoff.

LSU has a weak defense. Don't get suckered in.

I guess the goal for the Bama game will be to cover.

That was usually the goal in the Curley Hallman days.

Sad.

I never bet on LSU or the Saints but I understand this line completely. If anyone has seen our Defense this year, they would understand. Please...Furman pushed us around...FURMAN. BAMA will jump on LSU early, force them to be one dimensional, then blitz package Mett senseless.

good post. though i wouldn't worry about the towson/furman performances. i think the team will be psyched. i think we will stay close but totally understand if our defense gets abused.

Has zero relevance this year. Last year, our defense kept us in this game, allowing the offense to take their time and pick their plays. This year, the extreme lack of defense this team has will have the offense trying any and everything to catch up, leading to all sorts of possible mistakes. I wouldn't touch this bet either.

I think LSU is going to put about 40 on Bama. So that means Bama will have to score 57. We will see!!

I don't buy this at all. I'll suck a monkey's arse if Bama beats LSU by 17.

Sad day when you see LSU, a supposed powerhouse, as a 17-point underdog against anyone.

Bama is on a roll and LSU's offense has regressed a bit over the last few weeks while the defense remains bad.

Recipe for disaster.
