Took Florida -3

So naturally lsu will win by 1, I’m like the PEEJ of the betting universe. If you went against me you would be rich

Love betting LSU (in the past) but Syracuse getting 24 and Troy getting 21 were my safest bets this year

False. Sometimes you will see 80% of money on one team or another and the line doesn't move.

bullshite. I swear some of you people are complete morons

Vegas will NEVER have 80% of the money on one side and not move the line.

And where does Vegas post the amount of money on each team? Never saw/herd of that before

You just said that the line is only a reflection of where the bets are. You are literally directly contradicting what you just said. Is being a condescending a-hole so important to you?

Florida's got a ton of injuries and suspensions. If we actually try we should win.

You are so dumb. How do you think they determine odds? It isn't just from counting the number of bets. Vegas is all about making money. Nothing else matters.

Another person who is overly concerned about being a condescending a-hole. I guess it feels good, huh?

Many times most of the bets are on one side but more money will be on the other. Because the public bets the obvious play but the sharps are usually opposite with fewer bets but for more money.

That's whats happening here. The sharps are hammering LSU. The public would never touch them at this time. You have to be contrarian to win over time. Sharps are right more than the general public but they don't understand the team and coaches here are in disarray.

I may play LSU small bc we should finally get a focused effort.

Yes, and that was initially ay +3.5. it is now +2. What does that tell you?

Lsu wins this game, comfortably, and gains momentum coming home for auburn.

Lot of Lsu fans are going to be pissed, then will talk about how bad Florida is and how great of a job the coordinators did, despite o. Watch

You realize it is moving it because there are people betting on LSU right?

This, the bets move the line. There are a ton of people taking LSU on this game. I'm one of them. We might be bad this year, but Florida ain't much better. This may be an ugly arse game that we win, similar to 2014 when LSU was 4-2, 0-2 in the West after getting embarrassed by State and Auburn. I expect LSU to come out with a lot of emotion and fight hard in a close contest.

All I can come up with is that Vegas has been preoccupied this week. No way this line should be closing in like this.

The line moves depending on where betters are putting their money. Vegas sets the opening line, and then it moves based on the betting public's actions. Bookies just try to get equal money bet on each team, and Vegas takes the vig.

Don't you understand how it works?

The line is set based on how good each team is. The line then moves based on how much money is coming in on each side. There's nothing contradictory about what I said, you twat.

I expected LSU to come out with a lot of emotion after the embarrassing loss to Miss St. Didn't happen.

I expected LSU to come out with a lot of emotion after the too-close win over Syracuse. Didn't happen.

So now you expect LSU to come out with a lot of emotion after the humiliating loss to Troy? When we're on the road? At the Swamp? Highly doubtful.

Same thing happened in 2014. Sometimes it takes a little time for a young team to get going. You can say we have so many Jr's and Sr's all you want, but playing 22 true freshmen, and having them contribute and play significant playing time does not give you an experienced team.
