VCU fans on twitter now more confident Wade staying

Come on man. We know how fluid these coaching searches can be. Jimmy said he felt confident but terms were not yet reached. VCU hears this and ups the ante and talks him into staying. It happens all the time. Sometimes we lose sight that these coaches have to uproot their families and move to a new place in a matter of days. Sometimes it's easier to take a pay raise (and maybe less than the offer) to stay.

Not saying it happened here, but to kill someone over a source is kind of silly.

ETA- and frick Joe Alleva for continuing to make our athletic dept look bad. What a fricking clown.

I'm not going to credit anything some jakeleg on Twitter might say. I will say this - if this process is moving along in an orderly fashion, there should be some news breaking fairly soon tonight and by tomorrow there ought to be a press conference scheduled.

Tomorrow afternoon will make 48 hours after that plane with "LSU" on its tail touched down in Richmond. Within 48 hours after you went in there with the colors flying, you had damn well better either have a deal done with the guy you went to see or else you're about to announce a deal with somebody else.

Will Wade can't keep VCU hanging without knowing whether they have a coach. That isn't how this works. He either has to turn LSU down or take our job. This limbo business will turn him into Pat Sullivan.

Wade should've gone with the binder instead of the notebook...Alleva don't mess around with no 70-page notebooks.
