They know its been moved and to where it going. all the other posts are correct.

just look at SEC nation. All of a sudden they are going to UT. Why? because the already know the game is being moved

24 to 36 hours is too long.

Decision needs to be made by close of business today.

Doubtful sine that would mean reworking tv schedules. I also have a wedding to attend Saturday night, so I'd like for it to stay where it is

Not to mention NC is like the mecca of NASCAR, so it will be packed.

and it's 18 miles from bank of america stadium. But, I do realize that a lot of hotels would be used all over for the race.

How about GT's stadium? They are playing a road game.

Legion Field in Birmingham will be vacant and would love to host the game.

I just dont see them playing at another random team's stadium when they could move the game here and have a return trip in 2020 or whatever

If the game is anywhere other than Baton Rouge, hotels will have to accommodate two teams, not one.

The Mecca is turning into Starkville due to nascar interest waning.

Our National Whitewater Center draws more people than nascar hall of fame in downtown.

An absolute clusterfrick! But, season ticket holders could just print theirs at home...if they did it right.

Its not as simple as making a phone call and asking to borrow a stadium. Schools have to make hotel and flight accommodations, which have otherwise been done a year in advance. The school would probably have to pay a heft fee to use another stadium and pay for the staff and personnel that's involved in hosting an even. Sooo many variables.
