Or just observant lol. Regardless they are pretty harsh and saying exactly where the blame is. Incompetent is valid.

It's a good short read

Nailed it.

The most mind boggling part is the buyout. How the frick did that get approved? Every single person who signed off of that should be fired, beaten, deported and beaten again.

Joe Alleva is a lousy manager. He would never survive in the real business world. If this were a fortune 500 company his arse would be out the door already.

You've got Orgeron who was desperate. Could've paid him less with zero buyout.

I'd still like to know the reasoning behind the $12MM buyout...makes absolutely no sense.

What a shame for LSU and LSU fans. JA should be nowhere near a top tier program.

I have said it before that the only way this buyout makes sense is if his hand was forced to hire O and he wanted to ensure he at least kept his job for a couple more years.

Must kill SFP to have his thoughts blantantly stolen without any credit.

Easy Joe Alleva was protecting his job.

But wait, it gets worse. Not only did Alleva hire Orgeron, he gave him a real SEC contract worth $3.5 million annually with a buyout of $12 million if the school were to fire him after this season (dropping incrementally each year). There were two problems with that. First, hiring Orgeron is ridiculous enough. Though it was a decade ago, his tenure at Ole Miss was a train wreck of legendary proportions, so handing him the keys to a top-10 program was reckless at best. Some people are good assistants but bad head coaches. Everyone who watched the Ole Miss debacle saw that Orgeron fell into that category.

Damning and spot on. How Joe Alleva is still employed at this moment is mind boggling.

Just another article in a growing laundry list that is repeating what any one with half a brain knew was going to be the case when Alleva pulled this shite last Black Friday.

The writer absolutely nailed it. That's as good of a summary as I've read on Alleva's incompetence.
