This is just a OOS reporter who is not familiar with LesSpeak.

He does not understand the nuances and embedded genius of misdirectional cross speak when he hears it.

Miles was asked about the degree to which he thinks change at LSU is necessary and what those changes might entail.

Miles: There’s so much quality culture that’s being implied and taught back here that – we always change, we always review, and we do it on an annual basis but there’s some pieces that you just don’t give up.

Nobody is trying to take Fournette away from you coach. A balanced offense doesn't mean giving up your best player.

quote:

I think we’re going to apply a little more elbow grease in the passing game, we’re going to throw it more in practice and apply a greater amount of time to it, especially in the spring but in the preseason as well. And we expect it to be fruitful. I don’t know how much more that we can do.

The magic solution. After 7 or so years of dreadful passing...we're going to practice more.

quote:

Miles: No. It’s not happening. It’s going to be the same guy. Hopefully the team will be a lot better (laughter). It’s going to be interesting to see this spring. I think (quarterback) Brandon Harris will play his best football. I think he’s – you know, he started one game as a freshman, he started a season as a sophomore, now he’s a junior, OK?

“So I say I think we’ll be better? I can’t imagine that we won’t. I think, man, we’re going to be in great shape. I don’t think there’s any question that we’ll play better on offense and defense. Or, for that matter, that we won’t throw the football better. I’m the same guy; that’s never going to change. I think we’ll be more productive

So Les isn't going to change anything but thinks the team will be better because they probably won't get worse.

Two things I got from that is one, that guy wanted to piss Miles off about not beating Alabama. 90% of his questions were Bama related. It was uncalled for and his intentions were obvious. Two, Miles isn't changing shite on offense....at all, and that really sucks.

His communication skills are head scratching.

Does he really think in a jumbled way?

He doesn't see the modern game as a ceribial game.

1000% this... More pro-Bama propaganda hidden as a Miles Q&A??? Da fuk?

After the opening Bama rant I couldn't read past the first 2 questions. DISGUSTING and DISRESPECTFUL abuse of Les' time and energy.

You'd have to be dumb to not comprehend what he's saying. And our fanbase is full of that.

OP sucks diseased monkey butt. Good article. Les was clear. What else do people want him to say? He summed it up well--it's the top division and hard for anybody to win, it's hard to win the Bama game when a handful of your important players are injured, the QB was young and will be expected to play better as a Junior, and with the more experienced QB and receivers they'll practice and rely more on the pass. That sums up everything, doesn't it? P.S. I liked that part about how he tells recruits if they want to win the SEC, it goes through the West. Ha!

Miles on changing things up after a loss or a down year:

quote:

I recognize that the success we’ve had for 11 years has been done in the exact same way for 11 years and sometimes a year or a period of games – an injury gets ‘ya, or weather gets ‘ya, or something will get ‘ya. Because if it’s not that, then we win. And we win a lot here. I’m not going to change that just because there’s a lot of people in the street screaming at you, ok? I don’t care.

Don't expect anything to change next year. He said we'll pass more in this article, and he said the same thing last year too. He's stubborn, and he admits it.
