I'm just going by him being listed as a RHP/DH on the roster.

I think his primary focus will be the mound.
His bat has a ways to go, he has raw power but I don't think he is going to be ready for SEC pitching in 2018.

Feduccia - looks as if he'll be behind the dish. What's the scouting report on him ?

Mainieri is really high on Labas.

Labas is the guy from north Florida right? Abunch of guys on here were pretty fired up about him, Manieri seems to really like him as well. Also, Cameron sanders was another guy who seemed like a big get, but sounds like he may have control issues, which makes me think he is either going to be a reliable pitcher or walk 6 guys in 2 ip and never play again

I am very excited LSU got Labas late in the process, he's another big bodied arm who was a 50/50 to sign because of his college commitment. He's not on the level that Enlow was but he's right around where Storz is which is a ceiling of Sunday starter as a freshman working his way into become a front line rotation guy in 2-3 years.

I'm optimistic about Cam Sanders and this is why...when Hunter Kiel came in last summer he had a big arm but not much else to show for it. The fastball movement and off speed was literally hit or miss for him at any count and it became a mental game for him in just February, something he never recovered from. I like that Cam is getting work with his dad this summer, he's working to tweak his mechanics and his fastball has much better life than Kiel ever had. Kiel was forced to grove straight fastballs in 2-0 and 2-1 counts all year and that's not a winning recipe.

I just heard on radio (104.9fm) that Walker's spot on the roster can be filled by a walk-on due to a new NCAA rule.

I think PM is only humoring them. He wants Cabrera to hit and Storz to pitch. Period. Can't see those guys doing both at all after this year.

I feel the same. There's no way Cabrera's going to be expected to hit everyday as a freshman and pitch, that's just too much to ask.

Storz is one that if he doesn't take hold of the Sunday spot I wouldn't mind him getting some at bats early in the year.

I haven't checked but they normally post his media sessions the day of or day after.
