- Oregon has been up and coming ever since Horton took over. With the bankroll they have, it won't be long before they are the team to beat in the Pac 12.

I'm trying to find a way to bitch about Kendall Rogers right now, but I can't really complain about #5 ranking. AGH!

That school will likely haunt us forever since it is very unlikely we ever play them again or any time soon.

You can bitch at him for having Texas in the top 25 . He is a big Texas guy, so I'm not surprised he has them ranked.

Yu're right!

Last year, it was really hard for him to leave Texas out of his regional projections, but I was actually proud of him for stepping out of his bias and accurately projecting them out of regional play.

I blow up his twitter during the season and I beleive I've seen the same from you.

yep...I thought he banned me at some point last season. He was pissing me off. He didnt give LSU any recognition until after they beat SC. He wouldn't put us on the national seed line in his projections.

Exactly. Same here. I still thought that even if we didn't win that road series, we could have justified a Top 8 seed. He didn't get it. But I'm sure he hears it from all kinds of rantards around the country so I doubt he GAF

the only real chance he plays here is if he gets hurt this year

No, I think even if he did get hurt he still gets drafted to high to pass up the MLB and the dollars, on top of the fact that most MLB teams are back end loading the deals that if the kids don't make it they will pay "X" amount of dollars for the kids college education. Pretty hard to pass up for these top round guys.

Here are some questions from his chat today:

quote:

Comment From Jeff (D.C.)
What will Michael Barash's early enrollment mean for LSU this year?

Jeff,
Will be interesting to see where Barash fits in, if at all this season. The Tigers already have an All-American starting catcher in Ty Ross, while freshman Chris Chinea is expected to back him up this spring. It might not be a bad idea for Barash to redshirt, but we'll see what happens.

Comment From Michael
How would you rank the SEC West 1-7?

Michael,
1. Arkansas
2. LSU
3. Mississippi State
4. Ole Miss
5. Texas A&M
6. Auburn
7. Alabama

quote:

Comment From Jeff
No love for Alex Bregman as a freshman to watch, taking over for Nola at SS for LSU?

3:41 Jeff,
Bregman is another freshman to watch for sure. He had a terrific fall for the Tigers and Coach Mainieri told me he's the type of kid who's mature beyond his years.
