Miles said he has not considered retirement, and he declined to answer a question on whether he’s met with LSU administrators over the last week - something that LSU athletic director shot down Monday. A source close to the coach confirmed to The Advocate that Miles had not met with LSU officials. They have not told him anything about his job status, the source said.

Gotta imagine that'll change after A&M game...

Maybe. Maybe not. I think they'll be some assistant changes at the end of the season, at least. I'm far from convinced that Les is let go.

It's likely that it was his agent. If indeed there was a meeting. Which someone "said" that there was. WTF knows.

It's a done deal. Everyone has been told but Les and Jimbo. Only way to keep it hush hush.

Why? I don't have to imagine that. You're only imagining it because it's what you want. You're injecting your personal feelings into a matter that you can't get into.

I hope this is a joke, because this is completely contradictory and fabricated.

This makes sense.

It's pretty common practice for administrators to let an employee know they are being evaluated for termination, you know, just to give them a heads up.

That didn't happen here, so he's definitely not going anywhere. Guess we should move on...

Telling everyone else is how things get leaked.

Oh, and you know this how?

Or...it's a meeting that occurs to tell him he's retained? I'm honestly split on how this should/could go down.

Sure, if you don't count Alleva standing in the shadows making throat-cutting gestures.

All this for nothing. Starting to sound like a false alarm and Les will be back next season

I have always liked the circus and would take my family to check it out. At the end of the day, I found that I spent more money than I wanted to spend, watched acts that did not amaze me, and had to act excited and point at things so that the kids would not fall asleep.

This whole thing is making me tired.

Someone slyly summarize the info in the thread that was immediately whacked a few min ago.

Remember, slyly.
