Boyd's world predicting data was worthless. His numbers were solid, but you cannot simply factor-out that many off the top-30 RPI teams play each other in the SEC championship.
At the same time, people saying we were a "lock" even if we went 0-2 in Hoover are incorrect. If UK would have made the run in Hoover and they were 3-1 vs LSU with a RPI of probably 5, they would have certainly got the nod over us.
Predicting and declaring locks cannot be done unless you clairify that it's using "current data as of today".

You're putting way too much emphasis on the SECT vs body of work. LSU was already a lock.

For some reason he doesnt want to acknowledge that that scenario might have pushed stanford out, not LSU
