uno trying to get a football team?

has anyone heard anything about this? i haven't untill my son enrolled into uno and he told me that they are trying to work on getting a football team.

They have a fball team, I think it is still a club team but they are looking on getting into a conference

Not going to happen. They almost had to drop their whole athletic program due to funding shortfalls.

They do have a team, although it is just club right now. Have an 8 game schedule I think, and they travel. Got to start somewhere.

Full team, pads, and all. Cheerleaders. Play at Tad Gormely for their home games.

or worse ,taking our spot at beating tulane. wouldn't that be funny they come out beating tulanes asses.
