Jones has been a head basketball coach at the college level for 16 years. He has a grand total of ZERO ncaa tourney wins in those 16 years so I don't think we need to worry about him making any runs this year. He's already set the record for longest losing streak and is currently leading us to our worst conf record ever. Tiger rag radio said that the word is he will be let go right after we are eliminated fr the conf tourney, which will be day 1. This nightmare will soon be over and LSU basketball will be back soon.

Let's breakdown each ignorant statement and how wrong they are. 1st one Buddy Hield is better than Ben Simmons lmao. Simmons is the number 1 pick and the top NBA prospect since Lebron James while Buddy Hield has already been dumped by the team that drafted him not even a year into his career and isn't even a starter. 2. "The fire Les crew" was right Les was fired and the team performed much better after he was fired 2-2 with Les 6-2 after he was canned. 3 Johnny Jones can't win an SEC tourney or an NCAA game he's been a head coach for 16 years and has never won an NCAA tourney game. Jones will be fired after this alltime bad season (longest losing streak in school history and worst conf record ever). He will be remembered as the worst coach in school history at any sport.

Crazy things can happen in the SEC tourney. We know a last-place Georgia team won in 2008 and a last-place Ole Miss team won back in, i'm thinking, 1981 or 1982...

So it's not impossible. But this LSU just looks worse with each game, so don't count on it happening

What are these "deep seeded issues?"

Accountbility, lack of trust and respect for the coach. Talent isn't elite but it ain't near this bad. Johnny lost this team midway through last year and never got them back.

"What are these deep seeded issues?"

1 - worst fundamentals a team has ever had.
2 - no concept of individual or team defense
3 - no motivation or fight
4 - zero direction on offense
5 - zero rotation of players, nobody has roles or knows what's expected of them. Jones just randomly selects lineups and rotations. (He's done this since day 1)
6 - we have no gameplan either on offense or defense
7 - he has zero ability to adjust. Even when a player is hot he doesn't focus on getting that player the ball everything is ad libbed. And when we are exposed he can't adjust to answer it.
8 - he can't identify matchup advantages or disadvantages.
9 - we don't run an offense or inbound plays. He has 2 or 3 set plays the rest is yard ball.
10 - our teams get worse as the season progresses.
11 - he's bad at situational basketball. Blows big leads, teams can't shoot fts, doesn't call timeouts and when he does we are terrible out of timeouts. Exp.. we've had multiple game or half ending possessions where he draws up a play and we don't even get a shot off.
12 - he never takes responsibility it's always the players fault.

Two or three of these issues are killers for your basketball team. Jones has far more than that.

Did the "zero" key on your computer break after the second zero above? I think you are missing a few zeroes...

To me it's unmistakable so I think he does, JMO he didn't think he could do it right after the Les fiasco last year and figures he may as well wait until the season ends not. Plus he gets to discredit the Dale/Collis mafia by letting this play out, which I have no insight about this, but I think he loves doing.
