1979 vs USC. We lost however that was the loudest game ever. Even with less seats it was very loud. No one left early. Just check who USC brought to Tiger Stadium.

Loudest moment (maybe not game) I've been personally been there for was JC Copeland's catch and run down the sideline against Alabama in 2012.

i go watch this part on youtube all the time. people were going fricking nuts. and it might not have even been as loud as when jarvis scored

i know the oldtimers like to say 79 usc but there is no way you can beat 07 UForfeit when they announced the usc loss(ironically enough). i have never experienced anything like that in my life. impossible to describe
