What sort of under-the-radar true freshmen can you see making some significant contributions this year?

I can see Drake Davis making an impact. We've heard a lot about the other two true FR WRs, Anderson and Sullivan, but Drake may be the best of the bunch. With the losses of Quinn and Diarse, there is a chance for all of these FR to play.

Also, I know the numbers aren't in his favor, but I've had a very good feeling about Greedy since he committed. He's not the most highly touted CB out there (like Saivion and Kristian), but I just have a gut feeling we'll hear his name this year, maybe on special teams.

Devin white is "expected" to contribute every game at LB. love Dee Anderson but will probably never see him. Hope to see Saivion get some time at safety. But Special Teams will be really improved. It will be exciting to see these highly touted freshman playing hard to prove themselves, such as Michael divinity too. Especially with how many great additions we got this year.

Boy, that's great to think about.

Somebody should show these incoming freshmen video of Jarvis Landry on special teams as a freshman. If that kind of effort doesn't get you fired up, I don't know what will.

Sci Martin as pure pass rusher could see the field. Coach O said he's 245 lbs now.

I think Savion Smith will see the field more than people think.

Obviously Toliver, Jackson and White are our nickle package guyus, but I think Smith will get in there on dime packabes.

Which is good because Dwyane Thomas needs to not see the field.

Probably the best WR class we signed the past 4 years. Expect Anderson and Davis to get some touches

Drake Davis and Andre Anthony (if he gets cleared to play soon)

Conner Culp might be our starting placekicker.

Glen Logan could work his way into the rotation at defensive end and Rahssan Thornton will see the field in some capacity I'd bet.

This... He showed out in the reps he got this spring and into the spring game. He and Fulton are two that I'm anxious to see play.

I was thinking of guys like Saivion, Kristian Fulton, Devin White, Michael Divinity, Rashard Lawrence, Dee Anderson and Stephen Sullivan. Names we've been hearing, all the guys who enrolled early plus Lawrence and Fulton. All at positions where they can get on the field. WR because we lost two contributors from last year (Quinn and Diarse), interior D-line because of depth (although with Valentine a distinct possibility, lack of depth is less of a concern), and of course, LB. Even Saivion and Kristian, who I think are both special, will have to work hard to get on the field with White, Toliver and Donte back.

Speaking of CB, will this be the year that Ed Paris contributes in a significant way?

Oh yeah and Fulton. Damn we have a verifiable log jam at CB. Not a terrible problem to have.

I think all the freshman this year qualify as being on the radar. So many studs who could contribute right away.

You guys are just mentioning the 5 star recruits, not exactly "under the radar"

I think Sci Martin is another good pick. Didn't he set some kind of sack record his senior year of HS?

Sci will be playing a lot this year. He's one of the best pass rushers I've seen in HS. He will make an impact like Key did last year. He's so very technically sound.

IMO Rashard Lawrence, Devin White, Sci Martin, Savion Smith, Drake Davis and Dee Anderson are probably the safest bets to see majority of the playing time among True Freshmen.

Im super excited to see these guys on the field. Freshmen are always a pleasent surprise because you never know who you are gonna get to step up as an immediate playmaker.

Les seems to love playing true freshman but i think it was due to so many upperclassmen leaving early for the draft. It will be interesting to see what true freshman crack the rotation with us having depth for the first time in like 4 years.
