UGA fired Richt despite a better record than Les. Did the leak ruin it?

Did Les Miles purposefully leak this and put on the ESPN hit piece? I can't help but feel that way. THe way the cameras were staged and caught him tipping his cap and all the other sentimental BS.
Les set this up to make it impossible to fire him. Yet, Richt on the other hand stayed quiet and accepted responsibility like a true good man. UGA still had the balls to fire him.
Why can't we have the balls to fire Les? We are the new UGA of the west (best case scenario) or UT Austin (most likely scenario).

uga did what lsu should have done - if the intent was to improve by replacing the hrc, keep it out of the media until the firing is done. The way avella played it was sickening.
Eta: I think this is further proof that miles is much more clever than he lets on but I think you may be giving him more credit than he deaerves

While watching it I thought the same thing. George Bass leaked this and he set Alleva up. This is wrong in so many ways.

Richt has had worse seasons than Les in a weak SEC East. I'm surprised he lasted this long

fwiw, Richt has been at UGA 4 years longer than Miles at LSU, perhaps they don't have the balls you think they have.

Richt was 1 play away from winning a NC in 2012. THat's more recent than Miles.
THe only difference between Richt and Miles is that LSU's 2 loss team was chosen to go play Ohio state in 07 instead of UGA's 2 loss team. Literally the only difference.

No. I do not think LSU makes $15 million decisions based on hurting the feelings of fans who never stay the whole game anyway.
LSU just decided that 7 and 8 win seasons with the occasional 9 or 10 win season is a-okay. UGA decided it's not.
