UAB 07-09 Joe Webb
Passing - 435/741 (58.7%) 5345 yards (7.2 ypa) 36 TDs 25 ints
Rushing - 492 car 2736 yards (5.56 ypc) 23 TDs
Receiving - 32 rec 471 yards (14.7 ypr) 4 TDs
WKU 14 & 15 Brandon Doughty
Passing - 679/996 (70%) 8907 yards (8.94 ypa) 91 TDs 16 ints
The year prior to him being there Doughty was
246/374 (65.8%) 2857 yards (7.6 ypa) 14 TDs 14 ints.
Joe Webb as a senior was great!
162/271 (59.8%) 2299 yards (8.5 ypa) 21 TDs 8 ints
226 car 1424 yards (6.30 ypc) 11 TDs
Those are two very different types of QBs that he made very successful
He also was a very successful S/T and TEs coach at Hawaii, Memphis and Cincinnati.
He could bring a passing game here. I mean he made Joe Webb a nightmare to game plan against. He turned Doughty from mediocre (similar stats to Mett in 2012 minus the crazy amount of turnovers), to one of the greatest passers in college football the past 2 years.
Brandon Harris or Danny Etling could really do something under him.

In 2001, Helton's first season as a full-time coach, the Warriors led the nation in kickoff return yardage and broke the NCAA record for average gain per return (30.3). Under Helton, return specialist Chad Owens tied the NCAA record with two kick returns for a touchdown in a game and also broke the NCAA record for most yards gained on kick return.
In 2005, UM kicker Stephen Gostkowski, now with the NFL's New England Patriots, was responsible for nearly one-third of the team's scoring and was named the Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Year.
The 13-year veteran coached First-Team All-American Athletic Conference selections Blake Annen (TE) and Ralph David Abernathy IV (KR) in 2013. He was also part of a staff that produced the most prolific offensive unit in Cincinnati history. The Bearcats set the school record with 6,137 yards of total offense and led the American Athletic Conference, averaging 472.1 yards per game.

Why would he ruin his stats by pretending to be Les' OC. Money??

Like it matters who the OC is.

At the least he can develop a QB and play to their strengths.
Also somebody has to be an OC here. You could pretty much ask anybody about "ruining their stats".
