As a basketball player, did he maximize his potential (Made more $$$ than most of us will ever make), or is he an underachiever?

He was a great athlete who could use that ability to excel in college. He clearly never had great skills as a big man, but the NBA thought they could develop them. Athletes are a dime a dozen in the NBA, so you have to develop (or have) a true craft

He was raw and super athletic, which is pretty common in NBA drafts. Also pretty common for it to not work out.

Basically, what everyone is thinking is he never did develop. One of those players who did not have upside.
