re: Two questions still bugging me

Or do you think it was smart for Hill to not have a single carry in the 4th quarter?

No, but I also don't think it was a horrible call to try and run the clock down at the end of the game and trust your defense that had held McCarron to 1/7 for 0 yards in the entire second half. If you do thats your opinion. Great, I don't give a damn.

I mean he didn't trust his FG kicker in the first half, why not trust in Mett to seal the win later instead of going with said kicker?

Youd be bitching if we threw and didnt get it.

Just shut up already.

Why did Alex Hurst quit?

This doesn't bug me. Players quit all the time.

Why didn't Russell Shepherd touch the field in the chicken bowl?

Curious to know as well. I think he fell out with the coaching staff.

We missed a field goal before the half. We didn't have a single TO in that game.

Bull shite.

Timeout LOUISIANA STATE, clock 1:18.

You're wrong

LSU called it for their FG. Did not need to.

You aren't very sharp. Either that or you didn't really watch the game. Alleman missed a 53 yard FG attempt before the half that gave Bama good field position before their second TD. So in reality, Miles trusted his kicker too much at the end of the first half by letting him attempt a FG that he basically had no shot of making.

re: Two questions still bugging me
Obviously I was referring to turnovers you blithering idiot.

Also, the TO was called before a 3rd and 4 with a little over a minute in the half. Should we have just let the clock run down and then run on third down so we could try to run the clock out. Obviously on third and 4 we were trying to sustain the drive and go score. Damn you are stupid.

You're wrong. LSU called it for 3rd down. They wanted to have the right play call to convert on 3rd. That didn't happen. We wanted a TD that drive and had to settle for a field goal attempt.

You're under the impression that if something doesn't work it is inherently a bad call. That's not the case.

Read above post. Calling one play in the Bama game does not mean you have to go same way against Clemson.

Didn't you just say something about reading being key? Because he said absolutely nothing about the Clemson game.

He said that if we had thrown the ball at the end of the Bama game and didn't get it, instead of running the ball, you would still be bitching.

Wow, you think I'm not sharp? There were 2 opportunities for FG's that were not 53 fricking yards. Or did you not watch the game?

Yes and Alleman made one of those other opportunities. The other would have been a 47 yard kick, which Alleman probably didn't have the leg for anyway. The fake FG also didn't even hurt. Bama went three and out after the fake FG.

Try again.

You did the same thing above. Cry about running or throwing is what the pumpers will say. Clemson and Bama is what you guys love to use. The fact is, the running game was better in the Clemson game and the passing game was better in the Bama game.

So no, I would not have bitched at the end of the Bama game had they gone for it. The kicker had shown a few times throughout the season, he wasn't accurate from that distance and Mett was lighting it up 2nd half.

HE DIDN'T SAY ONE WORD ABOUT THE CLEMSON GAME. He said you would have been bitching had we thrown the ball at the end of the Bama game and thrown an incomplete pass. Judging from your comments you probably would be.

Guarantee Russell Shepard could have picked up that 1 yard against Alabama from their 32 yard line and LSU would have gone in to score LSU would have been in the SEC Championship game and National championship game, instead Les Miles put Spencer Ware under center and ran into a pile of dust.

Yeah because RS always made big plays when he was in there.

Haha, this is hysterical! You're right, the game was called perfect! Nothing to see here, move along.

That's not the point pumper. What if, instead of a fake FG and the Ware to brick wall, Alleman somehow DOES make those 2 FG's? How many points is LSU up by with 1 minute to go in the game?

What if he only makes 1? LSU is up by 6 at end of game and there is still a difference on how the D was playing.

Jim, the time out was bad. It's been a while but I remember watching the game with a group of people and everyone was going crazy about the time out. The missed FG was what it was. But the TO was what gave Bama the time they needed to score a TD before half.

I am not under that impression about anything that doesn't work. It's just that in THIS game, there were way too many calls that didn't work AND that didn't need to be called.

Pumper, let the man speak for himself. Why don't you concentrate on spinning more of your own bullshite? I didn't say he brought up Clemson, but it's something that people love to do.

It's impossible to prove to you but there was a room full of people and not 1 of us wanted that FG attempt at the end of the game. We would have lived and/or died by them going for it.

Answer honestly; did you like the FG attempt at the end? How about the fake and the Ware to brick wall in the first half? Were those all calls you liked BEFORE you saw the result? Be honest.

Where did I say all the play calls were perfect. Go ahead and quote me. I'll wait.

What if? What if? What if?

What if the fake FG caught Bama off guard and it went for a first down and we scored a TD.

WHAT IF?!?!?

Umm what else would we have done? Gone for it on 4th and 6? No, I would not have thought going for it on 4th and 6 would have been a good decision.

Ware to brick wall in the first half

What the hell is this you are talking about? Did you mean in the 4th quarter on the fourth down when we ran the Warecat up the middle for nothing?
