two hypothetical choices

Listening to the bashing of Miles, I finally came up with two choices for so called LSU fans by using hypothets.
!. LSU loses the next four of five games and fires Miles.
2. LSU wins out and wins the BCS and gives Miles an extension of five years.
I have been a bit shocked when three fans told me they would take number one over number two.
As an LSU fan, I take number two without a doubt. How about you?

That is what I thought. The bashers refuse to acknowledge that Miles may have something that can't be matched. A winning combination. He speaks different and is hard to predict and doesn't look like what we want. I wonder who would really want to come here.
A NC is just that. Something no one can take away, no matter how much you don't like the coach.
Remember a perfect LSU season for some fans is to go 12-0 Win the SEC CG and the BCS, then fire the coach.

If Miles wins another NC this year or any year in the future, he should be a college coaching icon. Bobby Bowden has 2, Urban Meyer has 2, Saban 2, Joe Pa 2. Thats elite company. Very few coaches can even come close to accomplishing this.

If he leaves, which is what most think they want, what coach would come? Give me some realistic answers as to who we would get. Some good Assistant, promotion from within; certainly no head coach would leave a good program to come here with the attitude of the most vocal fans.

Number two for me . I have a friend who is a Miles hater he is convinced that if we fire Miles Little Nicky would break his neck leaving Alabama to come here.

Have you looked at major college salaries. They are all getting 2 million or more. So who do you think we would offer 4 million to and would come, leaving another 3 million dollar job?

It was really scientific. I brought it up at the end of a Rotary club meeting with eight guys, and two of them said the first choice. I did not count me.
I brought it up on an e mail group of five and one went with it. So three of about 12. There are some on here that have not answered because they are embarrassed to admit that LSU losing means less to them than getting Miles fired. Ask a few Miles bashers around and see what you get.
