Do you think Cam will get creative with this? LF has the ability so split out and be a third receiver. Start in a power I, shift to a single back with LF in the slot, or vice versa. Or pistol formation, a back on either side of the QB, and motion out of that set.

I like your thought process. One will be a distraction while we run the option to the short side with the other!

Well hilliard has played FB for us before so it's possible that he could be brought in to confuse the defense because he could also carry while shifting the other around. Would give u multiple sets and plays with that personel.

I'm guessing you'll see Hilliard at the FB position quite a bit.

With our qb situation i would like to see a lot of multiple back, and/or multiple te sets.

Well, he motioned Hill out wide vs Iowa, and did the same with Magee vs TCU, so sure, why not?

It used to be common for the fb to be a great runner, basically an oversized tb. Obviously it worked better in the veer type offenses/wishbone. It would be tough to plan against Hilliard at fb

Any thread about our RBs makes me smile. I love when LSU plays dominant power football.

Fournette will take over as the starter in the first game.

Hillard should fight for the starting FB position.

Fournette will be split out alot. He caught like 70 something passes and almost 1100 yards and 10 TDs over the last two years. He has that Marshall Faulk versatility.

If anybody jumps out as the third receiver it's Magee. Magee I severely underrated

I agree but Magee and Fournette will be our 1&2 no particular order with Hilliard used for goal line situations and maybe some Full Back. I love the potential for some good option football though, we can run multiple options with Jennings.

Not a great idea. If two rbs are lined up one should be, primarily, a blocker. None of those guys are great blockers.

Bc they arent blocking backs (fb). Do you really think any of these backs can lead block in the hole for any of the other rbs?
