It won't exist on your guide until Saturday, but will then magically appear right by whatever number SECNetwork is on Comcast.

just go to the SEC network and there will be a number of alternates just a little higher in the order...

So far I haven't seen any broadcast from any provider air on one of the SEC Network alternate channels. I'm beginning to think that ESPN required providers to have the additional channels to carry the network but don't require them to air any specific content. I just automatically fire up the Roku for any content to air on alternates & it's on ESPN+. I do wish the non-functional channels we obviously pay for were actually used.

I also have Comcast/Xfinity..... Go on watchESPN app or website and enter your account info to login. SEC Alternate SHOULD be on there. Was on the listing when I checked with my iPhone

not sure if this is a running joke or not, but if not.. sec network alt only comes live for certain live events..

on cox it is the very next 2-3 channels after the sec network channel.

not sure how comcast has the channels lined up.

Comcast I believe doesnt have an SECN+ channel... Right after the SECN channel, listings for me are pac12 and NBATV. Best bet is WatchESPN or online streaming site

That sucks! Had no idea, but you are right.

Dang. Oh well, it's a good time for those who can't get it on their tv to use a chromecast, roku, or amazon firestick to stream watchespn to their big screen. Or just an HDMI, but the others are much cleaner and easier.

Yea HDMI is what I usually use. Not that much of a hassle imo. Usually just login to WatchESPN using my Comcast info and works fine, although an SECN+ channel would be nice

I spoke directly with a customer service rep at DirectTV today and they promised me that I would be able to watch the game. I told him I would cancel if it didn't come on. He stuck by his promise. We'll see...

With DirectTV I believe it's different. They probably provide the SECN+ channel, as well as the SECN channel. To my knowledge Xfinity/Comcast doesn't. Not completely sure. Never missed a game, usually on apps or streaming websites if not on TV

Direct TV has 611 as the SEC network. The alternate SEC network has not announced what it will air at the time of our game Saturday. Buying an Apple TV to stream my Watch ESPN to my TV.

Alternate SEC is 611-1 on Direct TV. Again, they have not said they would carry the game.
