What do we have to do to beat Arky? Obviously stopping the run is number one, but what can we exploit on their defense? What are their strengths?

Be over the loss and play our game. D will hold them. Wear them down on O mixing in a few passes. Hopefully try something new in the process.

Get over the loss last week quick, and match their emotion. That I'm afraid will be the hardest thing to do.

My mother always said if you do not have something good to say to keep your mouth shut, acutually she said closed, it just felt like she said shut.

I wish I could turn the page

Healthy dose of Harris. I think he will play better NOT being named the starter...and maybe AJ will play better knowing he's not guaranteed the whole game.

AJ isn't getting the passing game done. We need a spark. Harris is the only option.

If Harris stinks it up against Arky (which he won't), then LM has to be the worst evaluator/developer of QB talent. Rivers, JJ, AJ, Rettig, Harris.

I actually always like our chances after a loss. CLM has a pretty good track record in that regard. The guys will be motivated to get to that goal of 10 wins.

I mean, we won't have anything to show for it if we do win out, but it's better than having meltdown seasons.

Weather forecast is 20 and snowy for Saturday. Will that hurt or help us?

I worry about their banged up bodies.

I fully expect Moo State to take full advantage of the bruises we put on Bama and pick them off... Just hope Arky (who has played 3 quarters well against EVERYONE) doesn't do the same to us.

I'm not sure how the weather will affect the game. We and Arky both have pretty bad QBs and like to run the ball. I'm assuming that it'll be something of a wash. Like Auburn though, our series hinges pretty heavily on home-field advantage. I still expect us to win coming off that heart-breaking loss. Lots of teams fall apart when their season is shitcanned. We're actually pretty good at winning once nothing is at stake.

I don't disagree with your post, but I doubt that there will be many passes thrown in the weather conditions they are predicting at game time Saturday.

Doubt it. Les has one of the best "bounce-back" records in CFB, and we know how to win once we're playing for nothing. Les will get his 10 wins. All things considered, not a bad showing with a young team. The choke job against Bama was a fricking disgrace, though.

Our defense has been light years better than last year but is still inconsistent and lacks depth, which is why we have lost a bunch of 4th quarter leads. We led the SEC in pass breakups for a while back earlier in the season and LB Martrell Spaight quietly leads the SEC in tackles (at least before our bye over the weekend). However we also are prone to giving up the deep pass and our run D was awful against Auburn and Georgia while being solid against Alabama and Mississippi state. Go figure.

On offense our only reliable passing game is to the TEs. We actually have two future NFL TEs IMO but our OC doesn't remember to get them the ball most of the game. Our running backs are really dangerous and our OL is massive but against the better run defenses we've played they've been shut down for the most part and we've had to pass the ball 40 times which isn't our strong suit. We have a very young offensive line.

Our special teams haven't been very good but we get KR Korliss Marshall back from suspension this week.

Gohogs141, I think the game will be a tight one. My fear is that you guys are due and we are ripe for the picking. I live in Bentonville so I may have to pack my bags for a long vacation if we lose. Of course, if you listen to cue ball Bo Mattingly and Clay Henry, LSU might as well forfeit because we have no chance to win. Those two guys run a close race for who sucks harder.

Talk about reviving the fans after the Bama game. That would be a boon for interest if he was named the starter

Unfortunately, we all know that is a pipe dream.
