Troy 16 point favorite.

Troy will likely go 11-1 this season...decent team but we should have beaten them easily.

Will probably be a blow out. South Alabama is pretty terrible this year.

Can we just take a moment and say how awful it must be to play on a Wednesday.

Troy is a top 10 team, so they should dominate.

That number is way too high.
There are a lot of things that point to an upset by South. Joey Jones is basically coaching for his job in this game. The new OC didn't have much time to make changes for the La Tech game....but with 10 days look for a few new wrinkles. CJJ teams have historically gotten up for bigger games - heck last year they beat Miss State and San Diego State but were only 2-6 in conference. And of course Troy has the possibility of a let down.
Maybe I'm just trying to convince myself as a fan but I expect a one-score last team that has the ball wins type of game.

We lost at home to a team that plays their games on fricking Wednesday nights?

Playing on Wednesday sucks, but what is worse is that you have to give up 2 Saturday playing dates to do it.
I have no idea what ratings these games get, and I know those schools that play the Wednesday games would give their left nut to play on ESPN, but I find a hard time believing that the good outweighs the bad.
I'm as much of a football junkie as the next guy, from NFL to College, but I can do without football on Tuesday and Wednesday. I rarely tune to these games and if I do it's usually by accident and only for a few minutes.

He doesn't have a contract for next season.
A 1-5 start would means he has to either win the last six and make a bowl, or win 5 of last 6 and win a bowl game.
I hope the guy will do what Miles should have done- step down and accept a role in the athletic department or the JAF.

I wonder how many times we gonna hear that they beat us.

I'd rather wack my tool with sandpaper than watch that pillow fight of a game

Don't be shocked if ESPN spends more time discussing this than the actual game itself.
This is a great recruiting tool for their favorite SEC teams.

Hey Chicken, if you ever create a "subscribers only, anything goes" board, I'm in.
