He is really good! Not sure if he can pass Etling yet though. Saw Scott play a few years back.

We all hope that Scott is as good as all that. We have solid talent at quarterback now, but we are always an injury or two away from being thin. Every quality quarterback makes the team better.

Harris was very talented in high school but talent can only get you so far. I was told that he did not want to put in the effort to be a great QB and was relying on his physical skills alone. I will take a smart, engaged, above avg athlete over and super talented, un willing and un intelligent player anyday.

Looks like it will be Etling as the #1
#2 - Scott,Narcisse,Brennan battle.

But,I believe the spring will give both Scott & Narcisse an edge.

I absolutely would redshirt the freshman that comes out of fall ball as the #4 QB maybe even both #3 & #4 if they both are that low and roll with Etling, Scott & McMillan No sense to waist their freshman years.

So, did Scott have some recent display of on- field, full speed talent that I missed?
what is the source of this revelation ?

I saw him on campus the other day. Dude is stout. Thought he was a RB or LB. But man, he's short as hell. Maybe 5'10". I'd bet under

I see a little Russell Wilson in him. Watching his highlights, he has a quick release when he is scrambling or rolling out of the pocket. He's not as good on deep throws from the pocket. He typically needs a step or two to get the power behind the throw.

I like the release. But I also liked the deep ball. He must be crazy strong. A pass thrown at the 50 second mark, traveled 50 yards without stepping the throw. I would like to see him step more into the throw. But 50 yards through air (with all arm) is a lot of strength. LINK

He is built like a tank. My co-worker (who is 6'1"), says that he appears to be 5'11, definitely not lower than 5'10.

I heard exactly the opposite! Supposedly he is a gym rat, dedicated and soaks up coaching like a sponge!

That is exactly how I have heard Scott described!

My understanding is he is an excellent student and a great kid and leader!

I don't know who you know, but it is obviously not the same people I know.
