Listening to his interview on SVP, he doesn't single out any coaches or schools but this is what he says...

Says fans look at it wrong and say "we have a 4 or 5 star QB, so he'll be good when he gets here." Says fans need to start looking at the track record of a staff for developing a QB. He said it's a shame because college football has become an "all boys network" where head coaches hire their buddies because it's safe and comfortable but not in the best interest of developing their QB.

Says he has never told a kid where to go to school, but there have been times a kid has picked a school and his stomach drops because he knows he won't be developed there. Goes on to say that talent at QB in CFB isn't the problem, there's 50+ guys that a good coach can take and win with, even though some are more talented than others. Said its mind boggling with how much easier the game is for QBs today that some teams struggle so much there, and it's a coach issue not a QB issue.

No teams, coaches named. But...

Can doesn't have a terrible record of developing QBs

The offense doesn't do them any favors.

Yeah I just heard him , he has to be talking about LSU. The "hiring your buddies" comment was a dead give away

Just letting you know that he most likely said "'ol boys network" as in "good 'ol boy"

"All boys network" sounds like a gay spice channel.

No doubt he is talking about LSU, can't think of anywhere else. At least major programs.

There isn't a single major program that both recruits as well as us, while also being known for poor QB play

I was thinking the same thing, along with Narcisse. Everything Diller says points to LSU and Les Miles.

Narcisse has legit talent to be a one man army QB with good coaching. Brennan has the talent to set passing records and be a 1st round draft pick. If Miles is retained, both of those guys will have their dreams smashed just like every LSU QB Miles has recruited from high school.

Miles is poison for QBs.

What other coaches/programs are known for not developing QBs?

I can't think of any except Les.

Maybe Muschamp?

ALL of the guys Cam has worked with were already developed PRIOR TO Cam inherited them. Cam UTILIZED THEM. Name me one QB Cam has "DEVELOPED"?

Man that's a direct shot at us. It's a god damn shame what Les has done to the offense and the kids he brings in on offense

Even with Muschamp, when his kids transfered, they had good college careers and even had the chance to compete in the NFL.

Check out Tyler Murphy (he was statistically the worst) at Boston College with 57% cmp, 2800 total yards, 24 total TDs and 10 ints his one year at BC.

Check out Jacoby Brissett with 5270 pass yards (60%) 43 TDs to 11 ints along with 904 rush yards and 9 TDs in his two years at NCST. Also was a 3rd round draft pick to the friggin Patriots.

Check out Jeff Driskel with 4026 pass yards (62.3%) 27 TDs to 8 ints, along with 323 rush yards and 5 TDs in one year at LA Tech. He was drafted in the 6th round.

Les Miles has Rivers, Rettig, Randall, and whatever Jennings does.

At least Muschamp didn't completely ruin his QBs like Miles does.
