What's the latest on him?
I remember him coming in a performing like a future NFL lineman and then he disappeared. What went wrong?

Too many beignets from the drive-through near Orgeron's house.

People aren't really taking this serious but TV was one of the players dumping gatorade on CEO after the aTm game so that doesn't seem like an unhappy player. I would like to know what exactly went down.

A few things contributed to the Kraken's descent back into the cold, dark deep:

- He slipped back into habits that got him dismissed in the first place. Being a responsible adult isn't that hard for short periods of time, but building consistency is tough.

- Greg Gilmore really improved after the Wisconsin game. He played on skates quite a bit early on in the season, but he quickly learned how to hold the point of attack at NG.

- Ed Alexander emerged. To me, Ed A was probably the most impressive freshman this year. He flashed brilliance in the trenches when he got in there. Go re-watch the games and focus on his snaps. He repeatedly showed that he could stand up the center and toss him to either side depending on which side the ball went to. Ed A owned his two gaps on nearly every snap.

- Pete Jenkins was hired as D-Line coach. Pete has been around the block. He has no tolerance for anything other than productive work and no allegiance to anyone who cannot perform.

Valentine should have taken the Chad Lavalais route to college instead of wasting his eligibility during his irresponsible youth. Valentine has already exhausted TWO second-chance U's. He will be left with no options in life.

He looked legit happy, not like a player that hasn't seen the field in weeks.

Valentine mouthed off to Pete Jenkins and you don't do that to one of Coach O's boys. Rode pine the rest of the way.

Coach O is one of the most stubborn and hardheaded coaches you will find from what I've been told.

Can you imagine what will happen if a player mouthed off to Lane Kiffin? Kicked off the team instantly.

I was thinking about starting a thread about this. It wasn.t just the Gatorade dumping but he was also the first guy to hoist up the boot after out Arky victory. He sure as heck did look happy as a sloppy pig and definitely a part of the team.

It's a mystery. From this evidence (opposed to message board reality) I can see him playing next year if he has eligibility. I am pretty sure that he hasn't played enough to blow his eligibility this year.

He did play well and helped us big time early on however coach O hates him and he's done at LSU. Even though our defense needs a super sized nose guard coach O doesn't like any dlineman that weight over 310. Big mistake by our new coach.

Greg Gilmore almost single handedly cost us the Florida game. Even my daughter was screaming to get him out of the game. He was shoved back yards off the ball the entire second half. When Florida ran the ball, it was right up the vacant spot in front of Gilmore who was 10 feet back at the snap of the ball. I have NO IDEA why he played exclusively. Mind boggling.

Forget about him. If he didn't crack the lineup this year, he never will.

CEO and Jenkins should have put him in the rotation. Even if he sees reduced minutes as punishment, we needed him in the rotation. Orgeron was being stubborn and defending his boy Jenkins...flame away
