Hi all, I'll be travelling over in mid November from Ireland with my girlfriend. It'll be my first LSU game to attend (long time fan).

I know that the South Alabama will be a rent a win but that's ok. Just wondering what time you'd expect kickoff to be? I'm staying in NO for the week and will be travelling out and staying the night in Baton Rouge on the Saturday.

Probably going to rent a car as I'm unsure of the public transport!

Any advice welcome.

Did you move to Ireland or are you from Ireland, would like some back story on how you became a LSU fan.

The future of the South Alabama is uncertain as the SEC works out how to reschedule the Florida game. You may actually miss out on a home game depending on how things shake out.

No I'm Irish.. I'm a lover of sports but fell big time for college football. Around this time, Katrina happened. I just remembered being enamoured with the state of Louisiana. The resiliency and the fact you're all different from the rest of the USA. Reminds me of Ireland, the way you have your own culture and beliefs. I'll always have a soft spot for the saints too.

Plus, sitting home in Ireland watching a night game in Tiger Stadium always amazed me. Love the passion.

Also. The Tigers always play tough and attritional football. I love that. A great programme with great fans!

Going to Ireland in a few weeks. Bringing an 18 month old and a pregnant wife. I figured I may as well travel like an Irishman if I am going to Ireland.

There's a pretty good chance we're related or at the very least that our families know each other well.

If you're coming from Constitution/College Dr. Your best bet will be to go I10East get off at Dalrymple Dr., and use the parking in that area. Magnify the parking map on link I sent you, and you'll see that there is free parking/unreserved parking(in the purple)off of Dalrymple.

Use the word "my" instead of "me" when talking about possessions.

Drive on the right side of the road.

Try not to say frick a lot.

Hold your liquor.

Wear some of this stuff:
