Ole Miss is my favorite trip in the SEC. The fans are almost all pretentious douche bags.

I went for the first time in 03, and have been back every year except 07. I always stay in Memphis. Beale Street is all LSU on Friday night. Silky O Sullivan's is the epicenter of it all.

Favorite ole miss story is we parked and some old guy walks up and says "you boys are gonna have fun. Ole miss is strong on cooter." He was right.

I really can't find a benefit of lying about something so trivial, but I know that we could not walk around campus with a beer can. There was also no place to buy alcohol near the campus, according to their fans. The police poured the beer out and we were given Crown and Coke from other LSU fans. It is irrelevant now if the rules have changed, according to a post above. I did find that the police were much more tolerant if you were a fan of those losers.

Big Bad Breakfast is good. City Grocery is overrated IMHO. Stay at the Graduate if you can get a room. Otherwise check out Peabody in Memphis and plan on driving which doesn't give you much room for restaurants in Oxford. You'll enjoy either way.

Wear a bow tie or some shorty shorts that allow your balls to hang out of the bottom

Two years ago I went to Taylor Grocery on Friday night and it was packed and good. Bring tailgate chairs while you wait outside for a table and BYOB in a cup. There will be a lot of people waiting outside. No one will have issues unless you are being a belligerent tiger fan...but that won't happen now as we have been humbled as a fan base

I stayed in Memphis. Went to Flight restaurant on Thursday night and it was good.
