Anyone watching this game can tell that TQ was the only player that had fire in his belly with a will to play hard.

I will be bashed by Simmons lovers but I did not see near the hustle from him.

TQ was the only one I saw play with heart.

Nobody can deny that Ben is way way way way too passive on offense. Plays timid like someone told him not to shoot the ball. Looks to pass and not score. TQ put the ball in the hole.

TQ shows up and plays hard for these big games.

He also disappears and plays with little effort and heart in a lot of the other games. And I mean a lot. It's ridiculously annoying how inconsistent his effort and attitude has been, considering how talented he is and how much better he makes our team when he shows up.

And for as good as he played tonight, he still had a lot of "wtf" moments.

Good on defensive side, ball hog and turnover man on offense.

I agree with the above post. My real point was that Simmons only attempted 7 field goals. No excuse for that... Played the whole game with no foul trouble.

I am not trying to say TQ is actually the most talented player but he is the only one that appeared to want to fight to win.

TQ played great, but he plays out of control way to often.

In today's game, sure.

But it hasn't been there for most of the games this year. And that's what's so frustrating about TQ. He's very talented and can be a very good player and take over games when he wants to. But for some reason, he doesn't always want to and has played with little effort and heart in a lot of games. Wayyy too many IMO.

Don't get it.

I agree he is awesome, but he tried twice to drive the lane and force a foul for shots. He was 6-6 for 3's. I would just as well taken a loss from a solid 3 point shot from TQ. But good game and damn that Buddy Hield. They should have brought in Robinson III to tackle his arse, JK of course...

I will give a lot of credit to Buddy H. He either has an uncanny knack of getting open looks or our players did not stick to assignments. Why would the guy defending him help when another plate penetrates?

Yea he is also the most selfish player on the team bc he has a I want to be the hero mentality. 1.3 seconds when he hit the 3 point line

You're close. TQ and Victor. Only players all year that have ever looked like they wanted out. Only two guys that ever make the hustle plays. Only two guys I've seen dive to the floor all year.

I certainly agree on Victor as well. Just checked the box score and did not realize the impact victor had.

You must not qtch too many games then. Because TQ has plenty of games where he plays with little effort and hustle. Plenty. He's an inconsistent player to begin with, but the msot inconsistent thing about him is his effort. Effort should be the 1 thing that is consistent, regardless if you are on or not. But it's not with TQ. And that bothers me.

Agree on Victor though. Plays very hard and has been a crucial player for this team.

I posted before the game that Simmons needs to learn to put the team on his back and take over, that it was his weakness. He is pretty soft much of the time
