Repost from the SECR.

Just ballparking, since I am too lazy to look things up.

1. LSU
2. Tennessee
3. Arkansas
4. Alabama
5. Texas A&M

I'm going to say the top attendance overall, across all sports, can be reasonably assumed to be from either LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Alabama, or Arkansas.

This is due to capacity across all facilities, and fan interest.

Out of that group, Arkansas has the smallest football stadium, Tennessee the smallest baseball stadium, and LSU the smallest basketball arena. The attendance from each school would be the smallest in each respective sport irregardless of fan interest.

With that in mind, I'm gonna say LSU has the highest overall attendance across all sports. Primarily because of baseball attendance being so much higher than anyone in the conference, or in the country for that matter.

LSU baseball has a higher total attendance than any basketball program in the conference save Kentucky. Which makes up for how low LSU is in basketball attendance. Especially since LSU basketball attendance would be higher than most, if not all school's baseball attendance.

LSU's attendance is routinely #3 in SEC football, #1 in baseball, #2 in gymnastics, and in the top four in softball.

In second place, would probably be Tennessee, followed closely by Arkansas. Texas A&M and Alabama would fight it out for fourth.

That's just ballparking it. I freely acknowledge that some schools do very well attendance wise in certain sports, like UGA for tennis, Texas A&M for soccer, Arkansas for track, Tennessee and UK for women's basketball.

I don't really think that any other non-revenue sport attendance is enough at any school to make enough of a difference in the rankings.

Just my two cents, and my contribution to the offseason.

Long post for someone too lazy to do anything other than "ballpark", which isn't even a verb.

Probably Michigan or Ohio State, they both would outdraw us in football and basketball. We would crush them in baseball attendance, but Michigan draws 100K fans for hockey.

Bud Walton arena holds nearly 20k. That means even if they only get 50% capacity, that's still close to Alex Box's full capacity. LSU baseball may bring in more total fans just because there are more baseball games in a season, but on avg, I would say most of the SEC schools avg at or more than 10k in avg capacity

Plus, I think you're wrong about the PMAC being the smallest of that group. I'm pretty sure it holds more than Reed Arena
