All homerism aside, South Carolina has the best field in college baseball.

Nice link, thanks for posting. Seems like they got em right. Although I hate Auburn's stadium.

I love how SC took the grandstand seats all the way down the line instead of bleachers. May hurt capacity but looks better. I also like how the fence isn't littered with billboards. I like the architecture of ours better.

i honestly will never be fully satisfied until they put seatbacks down the lines. This isn't a freaking high school stadium. LSU always finds ways to cut corners

They could've used some better pics - first one looks to be a lightly attended early season game in the blustery cold and the last one features the locker room with bins for dirty jock straps.

ETA: didn't even realize Penn St played baseball... but they have a damned fine stadium.

Yes, Alex Box architecture is classy. Grandstand seating is also first rate. The aluminum bleacher seating, an homage to the old Box, is a detraction in my opinion.

But when it is filled with 10,000 Tiger fans, we know the Box is second to none.

Couldn't LSU charge 5x more for advertising and take 80% of the ads down? That way those paying more would be highlighted and it wouldn't look so damned cluttered.

I understand the argument of this but I think people make too big a deal out of it. People don't bitch about the bleachers in tiger stadium so why do they do it about the ones in the Box?

list is crapola with no mention of Baum. May not be the best but it's top 5 no question.

you don't really see any advertising on the other top stadiums. Damned near all of LSU's outfield wall is cluttered with advertisements

Best grass in football in the country too.

Their have one of the best turf management programs in the world I believe and the athletic fields are like their laboratory.
